Building Community-Rooted Systems

for Local Resilience

The Alignment Initiative LLC is a multi-community organization developing practical systems that strengthen local resilience through food access, shared infrastructure, and creative innovation.

We are currently building in our home communities of Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi and Minnesota, with plans to expand wherever aligned leaders are ready to launch initiatives of their own.

Our Story

The Alignment Initiative began with a simple idea:

Resilient communities don’t happen by accident — they’re built intentionally.

Founded by leadership rooted in both Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi and Minnesota, our work begins at home. We are developing systems that support food access, shared resources, local entrepreneurship, and creative technology initiatives in the communities we know best.

But our vision extends further.

The Alignment Initiative is designed as a scalable model — one that can be adopted and adapted by aligned leaders in communities across the country and eventually around the world.

We believe strong communities are built locally, but connected globally.

Growing Through Local Initiatives

The Alignment Initiative operates through locally rooted initiatives designed to strengthen food access, shared resources, and community resilience in each region we serve.

Current focus areas include:

  • West Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi

  • Minnesota communities

Future expansion will occur through partnerships with aligned leaders who wish to develop initiatives in their own regions under the Alignment Initiative framework.

Meet the Founder

Jillian Devona Rogers is the Founder and CEO of The Alignment Initiative LLC, a multi-community organization dedicated to strengthening local resilience through practical infrastructure, collaborative systems, and community-rooted leadership.

She holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and completed advanced coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a concentration in substance use counseling and addiction studies.

Her accounting background provides the structural foundation for designing financially responsible membership models, operational frameworks, and sustainable community initiatives. Her studies in psychology focused on behavioral patterns, trauma response, recovery systems, and the dynamics of dependency — equipping her with a deep understanding of how individuals and families navigate crisis and rebuild stability.

Combined with lived experience overcoming complex relational trauma, this education shaped her practical understanding of boundaries, accountability, emotional regulation, and long-term resilience.

What began as personal healing evolved into structured community service and systems leadership.

The Alignment Initiative reflects her commitment to building environments where individuals and families feel:

• Heard
• Safe
• Supported
• Fed
• Resourced
• Empowered

She believes community resilience begins with individual stability — and that strong systems must support both human needs and financial sustainability.

Rooted in Hawaiʻi and Minnesota, Jillian is developing a scalable framework that allows aligned leaders to launch initiatives in their own communities under a shared structure of integrity, accountability, and practical collaboration.
